In cooperation with the "stay-at-home" order issued for Denton County and other areas in our Diocese, Bishop Michael Olson has issued a new letter (full text HERE) with updated guidelines for parish activities:
From today, our parish will no longer be offering Holy Communion in the parking lot.
Mass continues to be closed to the public.
Beginning Thursday, our priests will live-stream Mass from their residence, instead of the church. Look for live-stream of Masses at our parish website or our Facebook page at these times:
Sundays - 9:30 and 11:30 AM
Monday through Friday - 12 Noon
All events are cancelled after March 25
Confessions will still be offered on Wednesday, March 25, from 5-6:15 PM. ( separated by a screen and observing social distancing and group size limits)
Keep praying!
Please join the Holy Father and Christians throughout the world at 6 AM "our time" on Wednesday, March 25, in praying the Our Father.
Bishop Olson's letter also describes the indulgences granted by Pope Francis for the COVID-19 situation. These are special opportunities for grace for all of us during this time; please take a moment to learn about how the Church can bless our acts of prayer and devotion with this gift.
