The Family Life Committee is hosting St. Philip's Closet, a parish exchange event designed to help circulate children's items that are in good condition and reduce waste. The goal is to allow families to "shop" for needed items for their little ones while also having a chance to donate gently-used items they no longer need.
Here’s how it works:
Donate items you no longer need Over the next few weeks, we will be collecting gently-used items for children ages Newborn-12.
What we’re looking for: clothes (no holes, tears, or stains please), books, toys, sports gear, shoes (good condition), gear (strollers, pack n' plays, rockers, high chairs, boosters, car seats, etc).
Drop off donations at these upcoming events: Lenten Supper, March 9, 5:30-7 PM, CLC Sunday Coffee Hour, April 8, 10:30 AM
If you are uncertain about whether an item should be donated or need to schedule a pick-up, please contact Patricia Gonzalez at [email protected].
Come back on April 21 for the Swap Our Swap is on April 21, from 10 AM—4 PM in the CLC. Take what you need from the items we have collected (that’s right, the items will offered FREE, first-come, first-served) at the Swap event. All St. Philip parishioners are welcome, whether you have donated items or not! Leftover items will be donated to CCA.
Note: Even though the St. Philip’s Closet Swap is FREE, be sure to bring a few dollars for the Bake Sale happening at the same time.
Volunteers needed! Whether you have a little time or a lot of time, we need your help! Contact Patricia Gonzalez for more information at [email protected].
