The last phase of the physical construction has started: Flooring and Fixtures. This includes installing the floors throughout the church, classrooms, and offices. The Cloister Wing comes first, followed by the sanctuary and the narthex.
This phase also includes the installation of the chandeliers and other lighting. Eleven chandeliers (ten in the church and one in the narthex) were custom designed and built by Crenshaw Lighting, a Virginia manufacturer. Together with track lights recessed in the ceiling, they provide beautiful warm light to the church interior.
In addition, decorative window arches and crown molding are being added to accentuate the view. Finally, doors, handles, and bathroom fixtures are also included in this phase to finish out the build.
Important Reminder: Please Do Not Enter the Construction Site!
We know it’s an exciting time, but please do not enter the new church site, driveways, parking lot, or any part of the property. The area is an active worksite, and is not yet open to visitors, even on weekends. Please help us keep everyone safe!
