Help make a difference to a CASA of Denton foster child with the Giving Basket, sponsored by St. Philip Women’s Club.
This year's Giving Basket begins the weekend of March 4/5.
Here's how you can help:
- Take an egg from the GIVING BASKET in the Narthex (The eggs are grouped by gender and age).
- Purchase items and wrap them in an Easter basket. (Handouts with suggested items are available for each gender/age group).
- Return the Easter basket (with the egg attached) to the Narthex the weekend of March 18/19.
These Easter baskets are for foster children in the Denton County Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program. Last year, St. Philip families donated 340 Easter baskets to the foster children in the CASA program. This year, CASA of Denton is serving almost 400 foster children. Our 2017 goal is to provide 390 Easter baskets to CASA of Denton. For more information about CASA of Denton, visit www.casadenton.org.
