“Neighbor Days”: A Monthly Drive to Supply Local Outreach Agencies St. Philip’s is excited to announce a new program to replace the old “bin” donation collection system from our previous campus! Parish groups and volunteers have collaborated to develop “Neighbor Days” as a way to ensure ongoing support to the various outreach agencies in our area.
When can I drop off donations? Every month, the second Sunday will be a Neighbor Day weekend. Volunteers will be present after all Masses that weekend to receive donations of food and goods requested for that month. Because items are immediately sorted and dropped off at the charitable organizations, our volunteers can only receive donations on the designated Neighbor Day weekends.
What donations are needed? The types of food or supply donations needed will change every month. This allows our parish to meet the specific needs of the organizations we support, which can vary by season. Watch the bulletin for the list of items needed for the next Neighbor Day.
Our first Neighbor Day Weekend will be August 13/14. See the Sunday Bulletin for the list of items needed this month!
