Our Lenten Mission will be offered over three consecutive Mondays in March. Each evening of our Mission will offer the opportunity for renewal through Word and Sacrament, prayer and reflection.
Our Mission Mondays begin with a dinner and reflection offered by Director of Formation Matt Gill. The meal and discussion will close about 5:45 PM, leaving plenty of time to fast and prepare for Mass. At 6 PM, we will gather in the Church for the Angelus and the Rosary, followed by Mass. The Mission will close with a Holy Hour, during which Confessions will be offered.
Please join us for Mass and one or more of the Mission events:

Lenten Mission Reflection: Enter the Desert
Conquering Temptation through Christ
In the Gospel, we read of three great temptations suffered by Christ in the desert, and of His ultimate victory over each one. The temptations to pleasure, power, or possessions are the three main categories of all the temptations that assail the human race; we can identify with each one - a humbling reflection. As we enter the desert with Christ in this season of Lent, however, we also reflect on the hopeful message that we can conquer temptation and sin through His power and grace.
