The Family Life Committee is hosting St. Philip's Closet, a parish exchange event designed to help circulate children's items that are in good condition and reduce waste. The goal is to allow families to "shop" for needed items for their little ones while also having a chance to donate gently-used items they no longer need.
Our Swap is on April 21, from 10 AM—4 PM in the CLC. Take what you need from the items we have collected (all items will offered FREE, first-come, first-served) at the Swap event. All St. Philip parishioners are welcome, whether you have donated items to the exchange or not! Leftover items will be donated to CCA.
Also, event though the Swap is FREE, bring a few dollars for our bake sale!
Want to donate items to the Swap?
In the weeks before April 21, we will be collecting gently-used items for children ages Newborn-12.
What we’re looking for: clothes (no holes, tears, or stains please), books, toys, sports gear, shoes (good condition), gear (strollers, pack n' plays, rockers, high chairs, boosters, car seats, etc).
If you are uncertain about whether an item should be donated or need to schedule a pick-up, please contact Patricia Gonzalez at patricia.gonzalez@gmail.com.
Volunteers needed! Whether you have a little time or a lot of time, we need your help! Contact Patricia Gonzalez for more information at patricia.gonzalez@gmail.com.
