St. Philip's will be traveling to Our Mother of Mercy in Fort Worth for the Year of Mercy. During the Jubilee year, pilgrims entering the doors of Our Mother of Mercy Church will receive a plenary indulgence by meeting the usual conditions of Confession and reception of the Eucharist within a week of the pilgrimage, and while at the church making a Profession of Faith and praying for the intentions of the Holy Father for the Church and the World. These Holy Doors are symbols of God's mercy, open to welcome everyone into the compassion of God's love that Christ proclaimed.
Transportation to Ft. Worth is available for $15 per person; use our online form to register for the bus and pay the fee (if you will not be riding the bus, do not use the online form; instead, email Pat Quin at firstname.lastname@example.org). Please note: all young children must be accompanied by a parent. Teens must either be accompanied by a parent or travel as part of the chaperoned SPY group.
Buses will depart St. Philip’s at 8:30 am sharp; shortly after arriving at Our Mother of Mercy (around 9:30 am), Fr. McDaniel will celebrate Mass. We will return to St. Philip’s before noon. Make plans to join us for this special pilgrimage only available during this Jubilee Year of Mercy!
