More about Scott Hurbough Scott Hurbaugh is the director of Transportation Services for Catholic Charities, Ft. Worth., assisting with over 80,000 employment, medical, and senior trips in Tarrant County annually.
Before devoting his work full time to CCFW Transportation, Scott spent 31 years in public education as a science teacher, special education teacher, successful head football, basketball, and track coach, and Elementary and Junionr High principal.
This east Texas native began his spiritual journey in the Church of Christ in the early 1960s. Scott continued to serve in the Church of Christ and began attending the Catholic Church with his wife and sons. In 2010, he and his family became part of the parish family at Good Shepherd in Colleyville. A year later, he completed this life-changing journey and was confirmed in the Catholic Church.
Currently, Scott is involved with many community and church activities, including presenting to numerous organizations, inspiring men through his personal life stories, serving his church community through CRHP, the North Texas Catholic Brothers for Christ, and serving as a reader or Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. In addition to serving at work and church, Scott spends his free time with his wife of 31 years and 2 teenage sons.
