Mass of the Lord's Supper 7 pm The Mass of the Lord's Supper begins the Sacred Triduum, what is actually a single liturgical event spread out over three days and commemorating the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Mass of the Lord's Supper recalls in a special way the Last Supper, the institution of the Holy Eucharist. Holy Thursday Mass does not close like other Masses; we process with Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament from the church to the parish hall, just as Jesus went into the Garden of Gethsemane and there began His Passion.
Adoration at the Altar of Repose 8-11 pm In the parish hall, an altar has been set up, where the Blessed Sacrament is reposed, and where all are welcome to stay and watch, remembering Jesus' request of His disciples to watch with Him.
