St. Joseph is the most beloved Saint after Our Lady; he is venerated as the Patron of the Universal Church and has recently been added to the list of Saints commemorated in the Eucharistic Prayer during Mass (listen carefully next time and you'll hear his name). And yet, in all of Scripture, St. Joseph is totally silent; no words of his are recorded. Tonight we will learn about this amazing Saint and about a great tradition that has developed for his feast day: the St. Joseph Altar. We'll also sample some foods that are customarily made in his honor.
6:30 pm - Mass in the Church
7:00 pm - CAVBS Program in the CLC
What to bring TONIGHT:
Bring a can or box of food for the altar. All food items will be donated to the Salvation Army. If you want to donate a decorative bread for the altar, please drop it off during Monday's program, so that it can be used to set the altar up for tonight.
