Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion to the Homebound
Can you Bring Holy Communion to the Homebound?
Learn more about Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion to the Homebound after Masses November 2/3
Many parishioners are unable to attend weekly Mass, due mostly to health issues, and cannot receive the Holy Eucharist without help. Currently, 180 parishioners live in facilities or homes within our parish boundaries, and we frequently receive new requests.
Have you considered serving the sick and homebound in this beautiful way? Your reward on earth will be the smile on their faces and the appreciation they show to you, as well as the immense feeling of joy.
New ministers are trained and provided with materials. The few hours needed are not burdensome for most people, and you can work around your own schedule.
