Our Holy Father has requested that we all join in prayer together to pray the Holy Rosary with him at the same hour (3:00 PM in "our time"; 9:00 PM in Rome). Imagine the graces that will flow from the entire Catholic world – Rome to Texas and beyond – with all of us joining together to invoke the prayers and protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary!
In this time of temporal uncertainty, I’m asking all of us to pause at 3:00 PM this afternoon to join the Holy Father and literally millions of Catholics around the world to pray the beautiful prayer that has literally won battles, saved souls, and brought down countless graces from heaven. As the Holy Father writes, “Mary, Mother of God, Health of the Sick, leads us to the luminous and transfigured face of Jesus Christ and to His Heart. We turn to her with the prayer of the rosary, under the loving gaze of St. Joseph, custodian of the Holy Family and of our families. And we ask him to guard our family, our families, in a special way, in particular the sick and the persons taking care of the sick: the doctors, the men and women nurses, the volunteers, who risk their lives in this service.”
Entrusting all of you to the care of the Blessed Virgin Mary, our Heavenly Mother, and St. Joseph, our spiritual father, I am praying for all of us with renewed zeal during this challenging time. Let us be united always in prayer for one another.
