Thanks to generous donors, an antique altar is being given a new life in our church! During the summer, the altar has been carefully restored, and is now ready to be moved to the church.

On May 22, 2021, I will have the duty and the privilege of ordaining six (6) men to the priesthood for service in the Diocese of Fort Worth. We are blessed to have the largest number of ordinations to the priesthood in the fifty-two-year history of the Diocese of Fort Worth. Please pray for these men and for the twenty-three (23) other seminarians currently in formation for priestly ministry in our diocese.
St. Philip's will be offering additional Masses and overflow seating for many of our Holy Week and Easter liturgies. This year, some of our liturgies will look slightly different due to ongoing precautions, so please take a moment to review the changes in preparation for Holy Week.
The Receptionist/Communications Coordinator acts as the first point of contact for those calling or visiting the church. Requires in-depth knowledge of the church and its ministry in order to answer and direct inquiries properly. Manages the parish phone system, facilities calendar, Mass intention calendar, and other administrative functions. Assists Communications Director in preparing the weekly bulletin and maintaining online and print parish media.
Almost a year ago, we were in the midst of Lent when the pandemic struck. Our area entered lockdowns, and I learned how to live-stream Mass from my home (with more than a few mishaps!). For many of us, it feels like Lent has been going on since the pandemic started.

Bishop Michael Olson has directed the Diocese of Fort Worth to virtually participate in the National Prayer Vigil for Life and the Mass for Life on January 28 and January 29, 2021, respectively, for the intention of a greater respect for the gift of life and an end to abortion.
