Advent Parish Mission

Father Maurice Moon will preach our mission on the "7 Words of Mary"
6:30-8:30pm Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
 - Mass followed by Talk

We know of seven moments in Sacred Scripture where Our Lady speaks; this year's Advent Mission will be a three-night series reflecting on the "Seven Words of Mary."  

1. “How shall this happen, since I do not know man” – to Angel Gabriel
2. “Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it done to me according to thy word.” – to Angel Gabriel
3. Saluted Elizabeth – "When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting" – to Elizabeth
4. “Magnificat…” – to Elizabeth
5. “Son, why has Thou done so to us?  Behold, in sorrow Thy father and I have been seeking Thee.” – to Jesus
6. “They have no wine.” – to Jesus
7. “Do whatever He tells you.” – to the servants

About Fr. Moon: Fr. Maurice Moon is the Director of Collegian Seminarian Formation for the Diocese of Fort Worth, and serves as the Chaplain for Nolan Catholic High School in Fort Worth.  Before his ordination, Fr. Moon was a parishioner of our parish, and we are pleased to welcome him back as the guest speaker of our Advent Mission!
