Religious Education volunteers work in programs for children and youth, from preschool through high school.  For information or to volunteer, please contact Kim Carr for Preschool-Elementary, or Jim Weir for Middle-High School.

Catechists
Involved in the religious formation of our children from preschool through middle school ages.  They work in a classroom setting and follow a selected curriculum, attend training sessions, and maintain an optimal learning environment.

Child Care Workers
Provide a safe, secure environment for the Religious Education volunteers' younger children.

Coordinators
Provide general direction, guidance and encouragement for the catechists, assist at enrollment and at training sessions, recruit catechists and support staff, and maintain communication between the RE Department and our parents.

Food Team Coordinators
Oversee all Food Team volunteers

Food Team Leaders
Plan, buy and coordinate meals for S.P.Y. Nights and Middle School BIG Nights.  They work with the Food Team Members.

Food Team Members
Prepare and serve the food for our youth groups, and are responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen.  This is done on a rotating basis.

Office Helpers
Maintain orderly arrival/departure of students, maintain accurate attendance records, help the catechists by photocopying requested worksheets and assist coordinator as needed.  Generally there are two Office Helpers during each session.

S.P.Y. Core Team
A group of selected adults working with the high school program in cooperation with the Director of Youth Ministry.  They plan, conduct, and oversee each S.P.Y. Night's program, attend retreats and events, and help foster a positive, accepting and nurturing environment.

Vacation Bible School
A wonderful opportunity for middle/high school students and adults to spend a week with youngsters.  An exciting journey of prayer, song, games and fellowship.
