Our parish is taking on a new format this year for our mission--we will be having two very special guest speakers.

Monday, March 8--Sister Helen Prejean, CSJ
Sister Helen is a native of Louisiana, ans is known internationally for her tireless work against the death penalty. She is the author of the book, Dead Man Walking: An Eyewitness Account of the Death Penalty in the United States.
Sister Helen will also be selling/signing books at a reception for her in the Community Life Center immediately following her presentation in the Worship Center.

Tuesday & Wednesday, March 9 & 10
Father Bob Lampert is a native of Missouri and worked for many years as the ethicist for Christus Health Care. Father served here at St. Philip for over six years before retiring to San Antonio. Father bob's topics will be:
- Tuesday, March 9--"A Clash of Worldviews" (The Foundations of Catholic Social Teaching)
- Wednesday, March 10--"To Cultivate Peace and Protect Creation" (Environmental Ethics)
